Emergency Elevator Line (Analog) – 43.40.13.001

Analog telephone line used for emergency elevator phone units.
The analog line provides dial tone, ringing, and two-way voice communications. All telephone industry standards.
The analog line provides dial tone and industry standard supervisory voltage and talk battery for standard two-way analog voice communications.
Industry standard 5 to 15 volts DC talk battery, 48 volt DC supervisory voltage, loop current 23 to 35 Dcma, CPC Open loop duration 500ms, and 90 to 110 AC at 20Hz ringing voltage and frequency
This service is restricted to dialing one (1) telephone number which is typically a 24/7 monitored/manned station. On the UCF campus, this 24/7 station that is called is the UCF Police communications. This service provides full maintenance and repair of the phone line to the elevator control unit. The elevator phone unit and maintenance of the car traveling cable are not included with this service item.
All UCF departments, direct service organizations, and private vendors/companies that provide support services to the University.
Available Service Locations:
All UCF entities and direct service organizations located on the Orlando campus, the regional campuses, the Central Florida Research Park, and other UCF colleges located on remote campuses (e.g. Rosen College, UCF Medical Campus at Lake Nona, etc.).
Faculty; Staff; Non-UCF (on / off campus)
This device requires an analog port either with UCF’s Siemens PBX or a Cisco VG224 analog phone gateway. A TRF (Telecommunication Request Form) is needed to begin the installation and service.
