Netbackup Backup Service – 42.51.01.001

Backup Service covers data backup to disk and tape, and processing restore requests. The monthly charge will be based on actual backup volume.
Backup Service covers data backup to disk and tape, and processing restore requests. CS&T uses de-duplication technology to backup data on a regular basis. Once a month, all backup data is written to tape and sent off-site. The monthly charge will be based on actual backup volume. Incremantal backups on the de-duplication appliances expire after 30 days.
Supported client Operating System (OS): Windows, Mac, Linux, Solaris, Netware
Backup service consists of backup to tape and processing restore requests.
Backup schedule: once a month full backup (usually taken on a Saturday), incremental daily backups all other days of the month.
Retention: Unless otherwise requested, daily incremental backups are retained for one month and monthly full backups are retained for one year.
Archiving/offsite: The monthly full backups are copied to tape. One tape copy is retained onsite, one tape copy is sent to Iron Mountain. The daily incremental backups are retained only on CS&T’s Quantum Dxi appliances.
